（中央社台北12日電）海牙常設仲裁法院今天在南海仲裁案中，判斷太平島是礁不是島，對於這個裁決結果，立法院長蘇嘉全表示遺憾。
「菲律賓對中國」南海仲裁案，常設仲裁法院今天公布結果，稱中國大陸在9段線範圍內主張的歷史權利沒有法律依據，而南沙群島的所有海上地物，均為礁岩，包括太平島在內。
蘇嘉全表示，中華民國在南海諸島包括太平島的主權與海域權利，應該被尊重；有關南海爭議，應該透過多邊協商機制，共同謀求和平解決。
